I’ve been having a lot of conversations recently about the sort of “grass is greener” syndrome people have been feeling these days. People that want to move, that are starting school, that are thinking about career or other major changes. So, this song is for anyone who’s started to question the direction of their life in the midst of pandemic. I feel ya.

What feels like ages ago, my best friend @boo_tease_4 was supposed to leave Colorado for a grand new adventure, when she met @rosieresurrected . It wasn’t totally clear what was going to happen, and I ended up writing this song about timing and meeting the right person at the wrong time. But! Timing isn’t everything we make it out to be. Watching Boo find and chase such joy has continuously inspired me to be more bold and more vulnerable, and I’m so delighted to congratulate Boo and Rosie on their engagement, with a song that now feels nostalgic and also delightfully out of date. Happy friends make me happy ♥️ P.S. your dog can’t sit still for 5 minutes
